Tea Time for Two

During these weeks of rain, I have been trying to keep quiet and not complain, because the entire time I was in California, I was missing rain. Even so, when my plans for photographing these two little girls outdoors got rained out, I was disappointed and hesitant to reschedule yet again. We were faced with the task of trying to find an indoor location that could give us more than just a backdrop. I had this lightbulb pop on in my head and immediately got excited at the thought of pursuing it. A tearoom! Two beautiful little girls enjoying tea time together at this adorable tearoom!

Pink Bicycle Tea Room ended up being the perfect compromise for poor weather. Michelle, the owner, was so sweet and accommodating to us that rainy Sunday morning. Her and her son made up the tea room for us to use, and set the tables for a sweet atmosphere, complete with scones! Madeline and Kayden were immediately excited for our tea party, and had so much fun getting to pretend to pour tea for everyone.

I've been watching this sweet family grow for the last 6 years. It has been amazing getting to see these little girls grow and change into fun-loving, bubbly joys.
